Heavy machinery on a well-managed site

Every safe handover starts with a safe site. Safety gear is the most visible part of that — but only one part. Here's how we think about protection, from helmets to habits.

The non-negotiables on our sites

  • Hard hats, steel-toe boots, and hi-vis on every live site, no exceptions.
  • Eye and hearing protection wherever cutting, grinding, or nailing happens.
  • Harnesses and edge protection for any work above two metres.
  • Dust extraction and respirators for cutting, sanding, and demolition.

Gear only works with culture

Equipment protects people who actually wear it — so every Juniper Hollow site opens with a toolbox talk, every new starter gets a safety induction, and any worker can stop the job for a safety concern without consequence. Our supervisors are first-aid certified and empowered to send home anyone who works unsafe.

Nobody's deadline is worth somebody's injury. We plan the time safety needs into every programme.

Homeowners can help too: keep children and pets clear of work zones, follow the marked visitor routes, and never enter a scaffolded area without the site manager. A tidy site is a safe site — and a faster one.
